Any available scholarships for people with bipolar disorder that have felonies?
Question:
Answer:
what college have you applied for or have you? also, what major/career are you seeking?
assuming you have completed your fafsa and are not dependent, I am sure that you are eligible for a pell grant...
you should definitely start with community college for your basics and prove yourself (with all As and Bs)... if you do so, you should be able to get scholarships without having to mention your past
I think it depends on where you live. There is a program in ND for people just like you to earn their degree and it's all paid for by the state. Not sure about other states, though, and good luck in the future.
I would check with your social services department in your county, they are usually quite willing to help with people trying to get on the right track. Call around and ask who would handle this type of help first. I know felons who have gotten full paid tuition, just because they were a felon. Check it out and Good Luck to you!
I would start at your continuing education at your local community College. The costs are going to be much lower, and you will be able to get the basics out of the way. While there, you should be able to land some additional resources after showing a good track record. Your community college should be able to help in the area.
Good Luck
