Can a player receive an athletic scholarship to a D-3 college?

Question: I heard that you cant but i dont know if its true or not. answers appreciated

They're not called scholarships but the school will find other means to assist players with tuition, board, books, meals, etc.

no absolutely not... A sport team may have a SMALL amount of influence over the financial aid office in a D3 school but there are absolutely 0 athletic scholarships.
