apply for financial aid... just apply to the schools you want to attend and they will offer you what they can... if one school gives you a great deal, tell the other ones (or the one you really want) and barter with them... a lot of the times you can get a better deal if they really want you at their school
Well, you should definately play a sport or two this year. That will help A LOT. Trust me. Also, you could do other extracurricular activities, like run for president of your grade. A 4.0 GPA is amazing. Keep up the good work, add some more activities, and I bet you could get a scholarship from Princeton!
Remember you can take out government loans. Though scholarships are the best choice since you don't have to pay them back, don't let a lack of scholarships hold you back.
You GPA sounds great and with that GPA and depending on the type of college you would like to attend,getting scholarships from private sources and from the schools you apply to shouldn't be hard at all. I suggest through to join at least one club before you leave high school and be involved. Sports isn't necessarily especially if you don't have the time for them and won't continue it in college...They best way to not go to an instate college is by continuing doing what your doing and not applying to the colleges you don't want to go to.

www.fastweb.com offers a lot of scholarships for students. fill out as many as you can... it adds up
and basically, search around for scholarships on your own as well. and even if after you do all this work, universities have their own financial aid offices - so after all the fafsa and scholarships you can still get mor money - you're never stuck anywhere if money is the issue (it just depends on how much work you're willing to do to get your need met)
You can go anywhere you want. to go! Don't feel that you are limited by your financial situation. Apply to all of the schools you want to go to and be sure to inquire about their scholarships. If all else fails, you can always take out loans and work a PT job.
Begin shopping around at the colleges YOU want to attend. Be honest with them about your adademic and financial situations. Most schools have monies set aside for students who meet all other admissions requirements and lack funding even after scholarships and full financial aid. They use those funds for individuals who they see a large amount of potential in! With a 4.0 GPA, you have LOTS of potential, so use it!! Get to making those contacts. Write letters to admissions offices asking lots of questions, etc. Also, ask them to send you full lists of possible scholarships so that you may review them to see if you qualify for prizes you may not even know exist!!

you should definitely start to volunteer, it looks really good. you are a smart person, but they are looking for someone who does more than get good grades. do some school actvities, sports and clubs help. they just want to see if you are involved and dedicated.
if you are not financially able to pay it off, look into every scholarship opportunities they have. also, ask them about fafsa and fill out that form. that basically pays for you tuition and most of your books. It's helped me TREMENDOUSLY.
