If you are in college, can you still be qualified to get scholarship money?

Question:
if you are in college, can you still be qualified to get scholarship money? I keep getting emails about new scholarships and I'm tempted to enter some of them but not sure if it's ok because I am already a freshmen in college.

Answer:
Yes!! As long as you fulfill the requirements for the scholarship, apply for it. It's free money. Even if you don't fulfill ALL of the requirements, apply anyways.
Just because you are in college already does not mean that you will no longer apply for scholarships. A scholarship is there to help people afford college.
There are a lot of scams that promise scholarship money.

Your need to speak with the school's financial aid office.
The financial aid counselor can tell you what scholarships are available to you.

Good luck.
