Question about community college transfer...?

Question:
Is it true that colleges/universities accept cc transfers than those who are already attending non-cc/universities? and how hard is it to get scholarships? Would you also have to do more work to gain enough credit for it to be acceptable to transfer? I would have asked my high school guidance counselor but she is totally lost...

Answer:
Many community colleges have agreements with colleges that allow you to transfer credit. As far as I know, all universities will have a section on their website for transfer students. More than likely you'll be able to do a search and see how each class transfers. To make sure, you need to contact the CC and university you plan to attend. You should also know that there is a limit to how many credits you can transfer to the university. Ask about this also. There should be plenty of scholarships you can apply to, provided you have a 3.0. Check out the sites below for more information.
community college credit will tranfer if your grade is c or better but as to which ones they will take is up to each college. Scholarship can be easy to get all you need is to write to any college you want to go and askfor financial information and in that will a list of scholarship and you just need to see which one would fit you.
also you will need to know which college you want to go to and call them and talk to a counselor there.
