You foregot to tell about your subject choice.Not that it matters much. Discuss with your teachers the syllabus for the chosen subject upto std IX. Particularly read the Recommended Readings for the syllabus. These include recent developments in the subject. Another important preparation you need to do is to get together with the bright colleagues in your school and practise discussing any topic in a serious manner, allowing others to finish their sentences before you volunteer your views, seeking the permission of the moderator or presiding expert before beginning to speak, trying to summarise the views expressed by others and yourself and then offering a final view as you think proper.Manners also count ; when entering or leaving the interview Room don't omit to Greet the Panel and thank them for the opportunity
