Question:
im a softmore in high school, currently a varsity cheerleader. this isnt my first time with cheer, i did gymnastics and cheer when i was about 5 or 6 years old. but i didnt do cheer my freshman year (because i didnt like the uniforms LOL). well if i do it the rest of my high school years, are there any scholarships i can get from it? any colleges or universities in california (northern california) that offers any?
thanks!
Answer:
American Cheerleader magazine has a list of scholarships every spring. Try getting a subscription to it.

Also, scholarships are often just help with uniforms or books. Some Junior colleges offer a full ride, but surprisingly the big names in cheer colleges don't seem to.
if they do, they shouldt. Most scholorships, in my opinion ALL scholorships should be based on merit instead of focusing on un-higher education activitys.
