Question:
My plans are to enroll into St.Joseph College Seminary in the fall of 2007 and begin studying for the priesthood. I have done serious discerning for about a year and feel this is where God wants me to be. I have also felt compelled to explore the prospect of priesthood since at least 8th grade. I fully intend on completing all four years of education at St.Joseph's while I continue to discern the call to the priesthood. Although I am very excited about college, the cost for four years at St.Joseph scares me (it’s about $130,000!!!). This extraordinary high cost is due to the fact that I'd be required to double major, i.e. studying Theology/Philosophy and Social Science Education (specifically European/U.S. History, and Sociology). Since I'm not rich at all, I'm going to need a lot of financial aid and scholarship money. Please give me any information that could help me. Thank You and God Bless You.
