Should I still march in band?

Question:
I'm sixteen years old, and in my high school marching band. we're state and national champions. we've been on international and national tours. I love the glory, and band has always been my passion. but I'm now 19 weeks pregnant. My band uniform is getting tighter by the week, and soon enough, a band mom will find out. I play mallets, and they have to be harnessed in order to play. The harness is very uncomfortable, and i think it could be potentially harmful to my twins. should I keep playing mallets, switch a non-harnessed instruments, or just quit. (band scholarship is my way into college).

Answer:
can you not tell anyone about this? if not, I would try to switch instruments, but if the marching becomes harmul to your babies or you, quit! nothing is worth your life or theirs. I'm sure people would understand, and you could still get into college with other options. good luck, and email me if you need anything!
Try to switch to another instrument.
oh geez 16... twins. band is the least of your problems... and 19 weeks so you are keeping them so now it is no longer your life it now belongs to your twins. so no more strapping things to your belly and forget about the scholarship you need to think job because even if you think you mom will raise your kids while you go to school it's not right, it's not fair to your mother or your kids I'm sorry I don't want to come off as being a mean person but believe me band shouldn't even be on the top 100 in your list of priorities. Now child you must live the rest of your life for them
It would still be safe to march in the band, but I would try to switch instruments. While I was in marching band and was on the colorguard one of our girls was pregnant and she continued to twirl with us she didn't care. As long as your doing what you like to do then do it. If your doctor says no then stop. Don't worry about what any of the parents think either this is your life.
Well I would stop doing band for right now. Have your twins and then go back to music and hopefully you will still get your scholarship. If you want you can even practice at home so you won't get bad.
the loud noise gives your baby brain damage.

16 and pregnant?!?!?!? OMG!
why dont u see if you can play another instrument.
