I am trying to finish my degree, but I cannot seem to get the funds I need to finish paying for college.?
Question:
Answer:
Google "student loans" and see what comes up. Apply, apply, apply!! Usually bad credit makes it harder, but student loans can't be included in bankruptcy so they will take a chance on someone with bad credit.
Find a co-signer too, that can always help.
Does your college have a financial aid department? I would strongly suggest talking to him or her if it does. They usually know all the "tricks" and "loopholes".
Your advisor may be able to point you in the right direction too. Don't be afraid to ask people at the college for help. You are definitely not the only person to be in this situation.
Good luck, and keep working on that degree!!
some of those loans may require good credit. try salliemae.com and see if you are eligible for government supported loans. also try going to a cheaper school if you are undergraduate.
There should be student loans available for you such as the Stafford Student Loan, check with your college financial aid department for more information. I picked up my loan application at a local bank. The loans are pretty easy to get because they cannot be written off on a bankruptcy. Just remember, student loans must be repaid, so borrow only what you need to get by on. Don't give up. There IS a student loan out there for you.
