So...here it goes???
Question:
To rule out possibilities you guys might think:
Not anemia
ate healthy (no under eating or over eating)
stayed a healthy weight (didn't gain weight or lose weight from previous years)
not overtrained
Answer:
You stated you were hurt for awhile, has the doctor given you a clean bill of health?
Are you practicing as intensely as you did or is the thought of the injury getting in the way?
Kick your training up a notch, barring that, you may just be in a slump, with other things going on in your life right now. (grades, relationships, expectations)
The very worse scenario, you are not as good as some of the other runners at your school.hard cold reality check...it will either motivate you or perhaps you physically cannot do it..just some ideas for you to kick around...I truly hope that your speed comes back so you will be proud of yourself again.go for it girl and good luck.I would also suggest you speak to your athletic trainer or the coach for their input....thanks for asking
IDK your getting old?
How is your back/legs doing? Is there any sign or possibility of nerve damge/problems? I used to be a great runner but the nerves in my back and legs started acting up b/c of a previous surgery I had. See a doctor/physical trainer and see if they have any answers. Make sure you're getting enough protein and carbs. Good luck and may your speed return!
