Is any body went to college scholarship interview? What kind of question do they usually ask?
Question:
Answer:
Yes, I did. As I recall, they already had most of the information about me that they wanted on the form I mailed in. In the interview, they just wanted to meet me and get a feel for my personality and interests. This may not be exactly how it goes for you, and it may depend on what type of scholarship you apply for. Good luck!
I disagree with Physics_Student about telling the interviewer you don't have any questions if that is not the case. I told my interviewer that I didn't have any questions, and I still got the scholarship. Don't worry too much about preparing. You can't prepare for some questions, and if you try to think through too much in advance you will find yourself stressing out and overthinking these things. It's probably much better to have a genuine honest response to the question the first time you hear it.
They'll ask you questions about yourself and your future plan (be sure to be able to talk energetically about school and your extra curriculars). Also, be sure to go prepared to ask them questions (they may ask you if you have any questions and it's bad if you just say 'no' right away).
I mean no offense, but you should first of all work on your grammar.
They usually ask about your extracurricular activities, your hobbies, and what subjects you enjoy the most. They'll want to know why you decided to pursue your intended major and what you want to do after college. They'll also ask why you want to attend that particular college.
They may also throw in something completely out of the blue. What people have influenced you most in deciding to go on to higher education? How will you add to the diversity of this campus? Just be sure to answer honestly, and give them details. Relax, but make sure you're professional about it. You don't want to hurt your chances by seeming like you don't care.
