No, because it's sort of like community service.
NO!! they are going to school they are in the sport and there are scouts watching them, If they are good enough they will be making millions after school when they go pro.

I think they should get paid becuz they are playing their best
well those on a basketball scholarship are already getting some form of salary so in that sense they already are. but in terms of the walk-ons and those not under scholarship, i think they absolutely should get paid as long as their university benefits monetarily from the students' participation in that sport. realize that in many university systems, student subsidize the sports programs via their tuition. the university in turn gets more funding from their system and the really successful programs are able to get sponsorships and contributions to the university's general scholarship funds.
No, they do this because it's fun. It/When they get to the NBA, then they get paid.
No way, They are in it because they want to, They are still getting their education. They are like mior minor league, When or if they go pro then they will be making the money.BIG money!! That is when it all pays off for them, for all the hard work they put into it.
No. They should not get paid. I never got paid for my chemistry homework.
No. They are there to get an education, not to play a sport. They get a full ride scholarship to a top notch university and everything else they could possibly need is provided for them. It is already unfair enough that they get that for free for no better reason than they can play with a ball better than other kids.
If they are good enough and want money let them go on to the pros and get paid there.
