WHICH COLLEGE IS BETTER?? CU Boulder or DU Denver?
Question:
Looking to see which school people feel is better and worth going to in the Colorado Front Range Area. My choices are CU Boulder or DU Denver...looking primarly at majoring in Business/Economics. I want to start my own business in investing (FYI: currently own my own small business which is helping me pay for college), but may need to go into Investment Banking, or something along those lines to start. I've been offered a scholarship from DU that would cover half the cost of attendance...given my GPA stays up, but nothing from CU, however even with DU's offer, CU is still cheaper. If it were you, which school would you choose and would you go into student loan debt for one or the other if needed? Thanks!

There are no good schools in Colorado. Become a cowboy instead.
Where do you fit in? What campus feels best to you when you visited? Which one has the best programs for your area of interest?
There is no objective way to score a college. I've seen people fail at high-profile colleges, and others start at a community college to end up with a MD, PhD, or in one case, become an astronaut.
The secret, then is to go where you belong, where you fit in. The best place in the world won't work for you if you don't belong there. This is one time you should go w/ your gut, and forget all the surveys and ratings.
I heard CU Boulder is good, but it really is up to you.

-I used that website senior year of high school during the big college search and it helped me search through colleges based on specific information(Such as Majors, Cost, and Location) I was looking for. Not only was that a huge help, but it also has scholarships, student loans, and college aids you can apply for right there on the website. I'd highly recommend it.
