How should I go about getting noticed by a Div. 1-A college football team?

Question:
I'm a Junior at Amador Valley high school in Pleasanton California. I want to get a scholarship to play football, but walking on would not be a problem for me. I want to get noticed by a school and I've been filling out those recruitment questionaires. I don't have a good enough grades to go straight to a 4-year univ., so I would need to go to a junior college first. My question is how should I go about getting noticed by universities (specifically Pac-10), and making them want me to transfer to their school and play football after a year or 2 of junior college.

Answer:
I'm a xc runner and I have the same problems...if ur really good u need to send out letters to schools with stats, a resume...all that crap. Get it all ready to go in this upcoming summer, and send out all the letters in early august. I sent out over 60. You might want to include a tape of your play, and a coach rec. that should get you some attention, and some coaches are sure to contact you back.
dont suck and do badass
It's simple. If you are as good as you seem to think you are, just play ball. If you have the talent to get you there, they will notice you in JC. If not, then you are just like the millions of other HS stars that don't really have what it takes to make it. Good luck (either way!).
Try out for the jc team. Do well in that and get your grades up. then you'll be noticed by the 1A schools.
go to a combine, send videos of yourself to schools ect.
show the world that you got game

that is, if you actually do
Do a lot of extra curricular activites along with football. Also, you need to believe in yourself with football and try your best to get your grades up and colleges will notice you better.
I played junior college ball for Joliet junior college (#1 in the nation 2 years in a row) Pick you junior colleges wisely just dont co to one because its really convient look at the sports program and see how they did in past years. Also look and see if they have alot of players in the bigger colleges / universitys. Another thing is get BFS (Bigger Faster Stronger) High school football is awsome and if you have just a little talent you will shine. When you hit a college level everybody has great athletic abilities. Thats why there there. Hit the gym and work on your 40yrd dash. Good luck!
Screw off any kind of partying and focus all your attention on getting your grades up and getting better.
