Question:
I attended college and tried to pay for it out of pocket, but got backed up on the bill, now I owe the school several thousand dollars. I've been paying small amounts for 2 years and I'm on a payment plan, but to pay it completely off would take another 2 years.
I really want to go back to college, but they won't let me register until I pay them in full. I went to get a student loan, but I can't get one until I'm registered for school.
What should I do?
Answer:
Research different student loan consolidations. You can also check with the Department of Education for available resources.
Are there other colleges available to you to enroll in? This would at least get the ball rolling on getting into college sooner rather than later.
