Instate/out of state college question?

Question:
is it possible to only have to pay for instate tuition for a college even if my residency is not in that state, but i have relatives willing to give their info to the college to get instate tuition? can i do this?

Answer:
legally? Uh...no You have to move to the state and apply for residency to that state. I would call the local court house and ask how to do that. You would also have to apply for a change of address at the post office. As soon as you are seen as a state resident, meaning you pay them taxes and not your home state, your college tuition will be substantially lower. Hopefully you can do all this before you apply so your first tuition payment will be at the state resident price. good luck!
