Which volleyball camp would be better? Gold Medalist or Coach's Coach?

+GOLD MEDALIST. What more can I say? I KNOW he'll help me get better because he IS the best
+He's going to help us get scholarships for college.
+Cons: I'm not so sure of his coaching style (It usually has to be the same as my coach, coach...)
+It's REALLY expensive because I have to fly there & get a hotel, etc.
+It's only 2 days (Or 1 1/2)
Coach's Coach (Coolidge):
+He taught my coach (and she's also the main coach...or used to be. Her style is what we're going to use whether in jv or varcity)
+He coaches a private school
+4 days long

While I have met Pat Powers and have talked with him, I would probably recommend the other camp. You get twice as much camp for less money, it is probably the better deal money wise. Politically, it is better to go the Coach's Coach Coolidge camp. (Try saying that 3 times fast.) You will probably either learn the same things your coach teaches or close.
If you decide to go to the Pat Powers camp, you will enjoy it and you will learn a lot from him. However, if you have to choose only one, you should go to the Coach's Coach camp.
First I would say you need to talk to your coach and see what he recommends. It's always good to get on the coach's good side.
If it were me, I would probably chose to go to the coach's coach camp. I just don't think it's worth it to fly somewhere for a two day camp. Even if a gold medalist is running it, that doesn't mean you will get good one-on-one training that will help you improve in a short amount of time.
At the other camp, you will be used to the style of play and will probably get just as good individual instruction, and this way it will apply to you more, so you will improve more.
Just ask your coach's advice, and it would probably be best to do whatever he says. And this is also a good way to let him know you're doing something extra without trying to suck up.
If your primary goal is to fight for a starter's position in your varsity team, go to the coach's coach. Period.
If you want to be the best of the best, go find a Russian, Chinese, or Japanese player who had five or six championships under his/her belt (No personal offense to Pat Power, the gold medalist of 1984 Summer Olympics). This person has to be local, as you would need routine training instead of a two-day workshop... and you should expect to re-tune your fundamentals.
i say that you should go to the coach's coach becuz it is cheaper and becuz they taught your coach wat she knows and that might be what your coach is looking for.does that make sense, sorry its kinda hard to explain
go to coolidge's camp. its longer, cheaper, and probably smaller. i know from experience that just because its a big camp or a great player/coach (say pat powers), doesnt make it the best. you will probably have a better experience and learn more at coolidge's camp because
-you'll be there longer
-coach to camper ratio is probably like 1: 9. whereas pat powers camp ratio might be more like 1:15ish.
-closer to what your coach teaches you
-CHEAPER!
