Does being a British citizen living in the United States increase my chance of getting a scholarship?

Question:
I was born in the US to a British mother. By British law, I am a citizen of the European Union. Does this help my chances of getting a scholarship for college? Is there some kind of scholarship for this?

Answer:
no way you have to get a scholarship like everybody else
Unfortunately not, but do you hold dual citizenships? Most US scholarships are reserved for citizens and some include permanent residents as well but the best ones are usually only for US citizens.
