Hi I'm 20 years old and I really want to go to college, what kind of scholarships are available?
Question:
Answer:
Try www.fastweb.com
They have practically every scholarship on there, and you can serach well to narrow them down to the ones you qualify for.
Beyond that, make sure you file a FAFSA, www.fafsa.ed.gov to get govt loans and grants if available, and check with your employer to see if they offer any tuition reimbursement.
Talk to your college's financial aid department as well to see what kind of scholarships they offer through the institution itself.
Good Luck!
google scholarships. Ask at the company you work at if there are any scholarships or tuition aid.

Before you do some crazy scholarship search, see what you can qualify for by filling out a FAFSA application (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at www.fafsa.ed.gov
You will need both your parents and your own income information, preferrably from your 2006 tax documents. To file for the 2007-2008 school year, you will can apply beginning Jan 1. I would suggest that you fill out the application info by estimating the incomes and revising it once you get your taxes done. The earlier you get it done the better, that way the college you plan on attending can get all the info in line.
Depending on your financial need, based on the information you supply, you can qualify for federal and/or state grants. They will also supply you with information regarding loans if you need them.
I believe you can still apply for Spring 2007 if you wanted to start at a junior college next month, but I'm not sure how much luck you'll have.
Go to your local book store (a bigger chain store like Borders or something). There is a book (the name escapes me right now) that is FULL of all kinds of scholarships. Otherwise, try www.fasfa.ed.gov.
