Question:
Ok here is the story. On the spring 2005 term (my second term) in Housatonic Community college of Bridgeport Connecticut I dropped out of school by not attending classes alltogether. A few months after, coming back to Bridgeport I find myself with debt. I was under Financial aid and when I stopped gonig to class they withdraw all the money they paid for classes, leaving me with a debt at College. Now two years later I am going back to Bridgeport to attend the same school but this time with my own money that I had saved up. I payed the $200 something dollars I owed, but now that I called up asking them why my records are on hold they tell me is due to a debt of $601 that's the amount of money financial aid withdrew from the school. I have the money to pay the debt, but it will leave me very short from paying my own school tuition. Any tips.
All you can do it pay it. The debt is legit.
Generally the federal programs will allow you to pay back the debt in payments. You will not be able to take out more grants or apply for loans until it’s paid off but slowing it down with payments may help your current pursuit of education.
Hi,
I used "Credit Solution" to settle my debt .They managed to reduce my debt up to 58%.It's legitimate.I came accross this company on NBC News Special Edition.Check it out here:

The first two answers are correct. I would see if there is something you can work out with the school. Always remember to withdrawl from a school the correct way, dont just quit going to class. That was your BIG mistake. Good Luck.
