Why should we be forced to pay welfare, medical & college tuition for illegals? Our own people don't get this.

We shouldn't and I'm tired of it. If pro-illegals are so into helping them out, they should sponsor a whole family and fund them privately and see how much it really costs to have illegals and their babies. Hospitals are closing, schools are overcrowded, and Americans are left in the dust. Our govt rewards the illegals for breaking our laws while Americans are left to pay their bills. Doesn't make any sense to me. Secure our borders, no amnesty, end birthright citizenship, create a true system to keep track of expired visas, and local/state authorities should work with the Federal government to enforce our laws.

college tuition isn't paid by us!.at least not in california where you don't benefit from much if your not a citizen

True, but not ALL "ILLEGALS" consume our welfare,medical, and college money. Alot of people that are legal citizens use it, some just freeload...thats just how people are

Yes, there are Americans on welfare but that is a sad commentary on our nation as a whole. People should work if they can, all people! But illegals don't deserve the oxygen it takes to keep them going. I'm tired of them! Completely!
I do not know where you are getting your information but when you go to college you pay your own way or your parents pay it if you are not a resident or a citizen you can not get any finacial help. as far as welfare, and medical illegals do not get these benefits because as i stated before they are not residents or citizens so when they buy thier food it is with money they haved earned and as far as medical same goes they pay cash up frount . unlike most americans who have the biggest medical debt if they have no insurance. so when we pay our taxes for this thing rember we are bascilly paying for american who are down and out all so a large majority that benefit from this benefits are children.
It depends on the state tuition guidelines for each state. Here in North Carolina they can apply for college but they have to apply for their own student loans. Many of them do not get admitted to the big colleges doing so but many are going to the community college sites to file and apply for student loans which they can get. They can not get government grants or "free" money without true legal status here. Change your state. Schools are state funded not federally funded. Social Services are state funded not federally funded unless a natural disaster occurs, and social security is state and federally funded so if you apply for social security or disability and are illegal you will not get help. So do not listen to the gossip and media hype. Call your local agencies and schools and ask them where the money comes from and find out the criteria for family assistance or Social Services such as food stamps, welfare money, and ect. It may shock you how they do not follow a exstringent guideline. They complained back 20 yrs ago that Americans were defrauding the welfare system and also were complaining about the African Americans or "blacks" working the system in their favor and bleeding America dry. Now we have another "scapegoat" to use. If it wasn't good 20 yrs ago why didn't you do something about it back then and you wouldn't have the problems you have now. Go figure. Illigals get assistance per state not federally. Immigration problems are a state to state issue no matter what the media, your neighbor, or people on yahoo say. The most complaints I hear are from those in states that have these problems and have had these problems over 20 yrs. California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Connecticut, Maryland (the tax free state), and New Jersey are the majority of complainers and they have a reason to legitimately complain. Did you know that the only thing that has changed on the application for welfare assistance in California and Texas is that it is translated in 7 different languages and that the clause that states "we can not deny you assistance based on race, creed, religion, gender, or sexual preference" the forms have not changed since 1978 and neither has the criteria to recieve assistance. Good luck fighting with your representatives in your state to get them changed! The only ones I know that have done anything in the past 5 yrs have been, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia is working on theirs now.

We shouldn't ! There was a case a few years ago locally on the TV where a young girl wanted to go to college and she got refused because she was illegal, it turned out her parents had come here illegally when she was two years old. She claimed she didn't know, and because she wasn't legal the colleges all refused her entry into college. No SSN etc. She had gone to school here but she was not allowed to go to college. She felt the system had failed her, I thought it was her parents who had failed her.
Illegals don't get anything that our own people don't get. Our own people are just as eligible for welfare, medical & college tuition if they need them.
I don't know what the big fuss is over stopping illegal immigration.
