Can i come back to my home state and go to college without paying out of state tuition fees?

Question:
My parents are divorced one lives in FL the other in NC. I moved from FL to NC and i did one summer semester and im planning on doing a fall semester in NC. But I want to move back to FL and continue going to school. would i have to pay out of state tuition fees>?
You will have to pay out of state tuition fees only if you are no longer an official resident of the state. If you have since changed your state of residency to NC, you would need to change your residency back to FL to receive in state tuition rates. Most states require you must live there a year or so before becoming an official resident. Check on Google for NC official residency to see if it changed. If you have only been in NC under a year, more than likely your official state of residency is still FL.
