Adult going back to school scholarships search?
Question:
Answer:
i like fastweb. You fill out a survey so that they can recommend scholarships that you are eligible for. I signed up for a bunch of these websites along time ago and fast web is the only one that still sends me scholarship updates, not just advertisements. Also it is well organized, you can favorite scholarships, hide them, and even view them on a calander with due dates.
I'm right where you are--Hunting scholarships to go with financial aid. Scholarships.com is where I hang out a lot. If you search the web by entering "scholarships" in the search bar, it will give you several options. I don't remember the exact sites because I have it stored in my home computer. I registered with 3 different ones after filling out their inquiries. I get some action and often get e-mails about scholarships that have just become available. Some only require a short paragraph to apply, others none. Some require extensive writing but it's worth it if you will qualify. It all adds up. The best to you in your search. I would be happy to send you any info that I have at home. My e-mail is beverly88keys@yahoo.com if I can help. Please put "Yahoo linked" in the subject line so I don't think it's spam.
The best and most credible website to begin with on your search for scholarships is the individual school's financial aid website. It lists private scholarships from outside organizations and companies. Also, I recommend filling out the FAFSA form because it taps need based financial aid on the state, federal, and government levels. On free membership scholarship search websites, I recommend joining several of them. Good luck!
