What was your gpa when u were hired for your first job out of college? hopefully with a decent pay?
Question:
Answer:
I've gotta agree. GPA doesn't mean anything unless you have a job in academia. I went to grad school so that's the only way it helped. Employers don't care about GPA but more about work experience. If you don't have work experience then I'd suggest you volunteer in your field and get some experience that you can talk up on your resume. Just because you're a good student doesn't mean you'd be a good employee. Employers want job references. What field are you in? If you are in the medical field then you won't have a problem finding a good paying job without experience. It really depends on what field you're entering. Also, why don't you talk to some of your favorite professors? They may have connections and they may be able to hook you up with a job. The college education will be worth it in the long run. Don't expect very good money on your first job, though. Sorry :(
Bad news.. GPA means absolutely nothing once you graduate college. Unless you go to graduate school.
Otherwise.. absolutely...nothing...
