Question:
I would like to secure sponsorship to assist fund my college education in the U.S. - B.S. in Computer Science. I have already been awarded $10,000 tuition scholarship by a Pittsburgh College. I had a high school mean grade of B and completed my final exam at first position in my class. I need assistance to enable me finance the remaining 60% of total cost so that I may attend.

Answer:
You can earn plenty of scholarships, but you won't be eligible for any of the aid offered by the government. Don't fret too much though since they pretty much only offer loans. You're going to need to write lots of essays though. Every scholarship application is going to want some sort of essay or personal statement. There are thousands of scholarships available, and most don't have any citizenry requirements. If you want to go to school this fall though, you are going to be in a crunch. Most scholarship deadlines are between February and April. That doen't give you much time to find them and complete the applications. You can try websites like www.finaid.com to get started on your search.
