Feelings about receiving scholarships...?

Question:
I am a college student.

I have been asked by my hometown newspaper to be interviewed by email about my college scholarships that were given to me by private donors.

What are some insightful things to say and to show I truly appreciate them?

I'm a junior in college. I am an excellent student - 3.8 GPA. Involved in the community. School is important to me. As any college kid, I'm in need of the money.

Answer:
I would not do any interview on this matter with a newspaper reporter. What is the good of it for you? A donor of scholarships expects nothing from you, certainly not an interview from a newspaper. That info is very private stuff to both you and the scholarship donor. Frankly NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS..

If a reporter wants that kind of info tell them to contact your college and set an appointment with the appropriate people.

Take my advise please
