I have joined a college that i do not like now after 8 months.Should i change my college now?

Question:
I am basically interested in business.I wanted to do MBA as my postgraduation, while searching for a course which will help me in that ,I was left with two options 1.BBA (my interested subject) 2. Hotel Mangement . I got admission in both colleges though i would end up paying a little more by choosing bba.I got a free seat in a nationalised institute for the latter. At the time of choosing i was led to beleive that both were more or less the same, both were 3 years and both will help in business. After joining the college, everything about the college was awful most importantly the group of people were very bad.Now i feel i would be better off choosing bba.But i have hesitations bcos of the fact i would be losing an academic year and what other people would say. Please make my life peaceful by answering this question.

Answer:
You should transfer immediately. I got sucked into the same thing. I was majoring in Nursing and decided to go to one of the University of North Carolina schools that was closer to my home town because it was about the same price as the community college I attended. Big mistake. I wasted a year of my education and learned absolutely nothing! I transfered out of there and now I am going to a different UNC school and everything is 100 times better. I did loose a year just because nothing transfered out to my benefit. Don't worry about what people say. I graduate high school in 2002 and haven't got my bachelor's degree yet. I consider myself a super senior! Most people will not say anything and if they do you should question their career decision right back and simply tell them that you could not get the education that you wanted from the University that you were attending. Hope this helps and best of luck!
I would begin by looking at colleges that will accept credits from the one you are at now. Then, how many credits will they allow to transfer. If you can transfer enough credits from this semester as well, finish the semester out and transfer in the fall. Also, don't think about what other's might say, thin about what is most practical and logical to you. If you have a degree that you will not benefit from, and you feel you can't you as well as you could have at another school, which is going to be worse, hurting someone's feeling for a short time or getting a degree you can really use.
If you are that unhappy then I think you should switch schools. You should do what you feel is best.
