If you get a scholarship for dance can u leave the dance troop the next year but just start paying?

Question: i cant get into this one college unless i get a scholarship for dance (my grades are really low and i really doubt with all the people wanting to get in that i would make it in).. but i dont like that kind of dance so i was thinking can i just get in through scholarship then quit their dance team but stay in the university and just start paying for my tuition?? -yes im a little desperate..

Answer:
They don't own you, if you can afford your tuition,etc you can go it on your own the second year.
