Question:
I graduated in 2006. i went to college like normal kids, but i got really sick and missed a lot of school. they gave me a medical discharge and said that i would just come back as a second semester freshman. we couldnt afford to send me back to school, so i had to drop out completely and just get a job. I got online to check out scholarship options, and it says that the scholarships are available to highschool seniors. Does that mean that I cant get the scholarship? Theres NO WAY i can afford college without scholarships. i need to know if i can even get scholarships, and a few websites? i know about the fafsfa too. THANKS!
Answer:
there are some but its harder to get them because youve been out of school for a while. if worst comes to worst you can always get a federal student loan. thats what happened to me i couldnt get a scholarshp so i got a student loan. and there is always money for students to go to college. the only difference is that you have to pay the money back. But if you do get one ususally you dont pay anything back untl a while after you graduate and you get a low interest rate.
