If u decide to play junior college football can you still get a scholarship from colleges.?
Question:
Answer:
Yes you could still get a scholarship from a good division 1 university if you play really well, i will take an example from basketball, Steve Fracis(New York Knicks Guard) went to a Junior College and then afterwards he got a scholarship from the University of Maryland and look how he turned out.a couple of All star appearances and all of that so yes you can still get a scholarship.
Another example is Chad Johnson, Steve Smith, and TJ Houshmanzadeh.they are three of the best receivers in the league right now...Chad Johnson and Steve Smith went to the same Junior College and look at them now, they are doin better then the players that got right outta high school to a D1 university.
Sure why not. Many players get 2 year scholarships to colleges. This is done all the time, some players didnt get highly recruited coming out of high school so they went the junior college route to help get exposure and work on there game.
yes!
A lot of Division I schools like to pull junior college transfers for the last two years of their eligibility. Especially if a scholarship won't be avaliable at that school for a year or so down the road and they want the player to continue developing their skills at the college level.
Yes, and you could also walkon and earn a scholarship, such as Othello Hunter did for the OSU mens bball team (THAD 5)
