Otherwise, if your child is older and enters KPS in a later grade, they may only pay part or none of tuition. The Kalamazoo Promise free tuition deal is only valid at a Michigan university or community college if your child gets accepted (AND graduates from high school).
Do your research before you move, because there are not too many good jobs available there. It's a small town, only 80,000. And there's a gold rush on to buy houses within the KPS school district, so expect higher house prices than 1 year ago.
