I'm not going to disclose exactly how much I make per hour (it is a salary in excess of 30k, plus benefits and bonuses). . . as it is against Yahoo! Community Guidelines. I went to college for 4 years (received a Bachelor of Art in Psychology) and now work as a Human Resources Director. My grade point average was somewhere around a 3.3. A degree does carry value, but experience and extremely strong work ethics can carry you even further.

guess what? you don't have to go to college to get paid decently. I make more than my boyfriend and he graduated from a good college with all A's. I make almost 30 a year which isn't the best but it is pretty good for my age and where I work.
just graduated today...offered a job making 29,500 base salary with ability to make bonuses (Sales), 4 years of college and consistent Deans list, 3.89/4.0 GPA, three honors societies...Had one employer offer me $10 hr and another $12...makes me feel that a BA is like a HS diploma in some people's eyes
$45-65/hr. No college. I am a certified animal massage therapist. One course, no grade, pass or fail.
I make about $34k, but still trying to acheive my BS. Experience is great, but I suggest that before you spend money on a big degree, and work your life away trying to get experience, seek a career coach or make general goals about your career and get some certifications. Then use them even if the money isn't all that great for at least 6 months. Then look to move on & do more. keep going, you would have experience and cheaper education than a degree costs now adays then find a great employeer that will pay for you to go to school and get nothing less than a Master's. $100k will be knocking at your doorstep!
24/hr + ot -5 years-B.S. degree(not using it)-3.2 gpa- It's alot more importaint to be happy than to make a pile of money!
