I'm pretty sure you can get into any local community college or any tech or vocational school. If you have a particular interest, look into any courses that may help you towards that goal. Also, scholarships are everywhere and I have never seen any where graduation via GED would matter. There's a lot of info online and, every school has counselors who will gladly help steer you toward financial help.
You can certainly get in to college, though you may have to start at a community college, but lots of people do that. The guidance counselors there can help you with the scholarship angle, there is all sorts of stuff available for people who are turning their lives around.

Yes you can get into college with a GED and there are some scholarships specifically geared toward GED receipients. Once you receive your GED as the agency where you tested about scholarships, go to www.fastweb.com and www.scholarships.com and apply for everything you can get your hands on. Once you find a school to attend complete your FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov and see what you are offered. Good luck.
