University of San Francisco or Mills College?

okay, so i got this huge $18,000 scholarship from Mills College, a women's college. I am interested in going there, it seems it will be very libertating. USF on the otherhand, was orginally my first choice, but now i'm uncertain. I did however, receive my financial package from USF which will be approx $38,000 for the 2007-2008 year including stafford loans. That's pretty huge since the whole cost is $45,000. Anyway I havent received my financial package from Mills yet and i'm waiting on that. Plus the cost of going there is $47,000! That's alot of money.

Honestly, I have the same problem as you. I can't decide whether to go to Mills, Saint Mary's, or UC Davis. In my opinion, i would probably go to Mills instead just because it's smaller and you can get more attention that way. Plus, it's in the Oakland hills, making it close to Berekely and San Francisco. I'm still waiting for my financial package as well. I guess for me the decision will all depend on how much money they offer me. You might also want to consider if you're okay with going to an all-women's college. i know i am, but it isn't for all people. Good luck!

I live in the bay area, and i would personally pick Mills, But it really depends on what you want to major in.

Go to San Fransico..I'm telling you,it seems like more now but in the longrun..God you thank me.I went there...I majored in law on a scholarship...

You should choose the school that you would feel the most comfortable at, regardless of how much money each is providing. That is especially important because you will be there for four years. I myself am going to Mills in the fall, and it is an awesome school. Go with your gut feeling.
