I am also preparing to go into college. I'm not sure if I can help but I'll tell you what I know...
In my experience so far looking on search engines is NOT much help. Hopefully your daughter has a counselor who will be able to help (unlike mine, who is NOT)
If your daughter is looking at a specific college, check the priority date (the latest date the school will accept scholarship applications) to see what they have available. YOu may even want to personally call the school if your daughter has any areas that she particularly thrives in. Her teachers may also have information on special scholarships for their area of expertise for those who will ask. The biggest thing is to check with her counselor and to try to search out scholarships that deal with her individual strengths. I really cant help much more with what you gave me, but good luck to both of you!
