If you have a college degree answer this question: what is the lowest paid job you had with a college degree?

Question:
how much did they pay you? do u have a better paying job now?

Answer:
After law school - Attorney at $15.00 per hour, honest. I sat at the reception desk, answered the phones, did my own research, wrote my own briefs, and carried about 30 active cases. Did it for 2 years of hands-on experience in the type of law the small firm did. Now have my own law firm - I get to pay myself.
I didn't do it, but someone I knew - with their Masters - worked at Starbucks . . . scary, huh?
It used to be that if you had a college degree you could get a good paying job easily. Times have changed and now specializing in something for 2 years is probably better than getting a 4 year degree in something general (Pyschology, for example, which is what I majored in). In other words, nursing, mechanics or computer programs that can be completed at a community college in 2 years have better paying jobs than if you major in Pysch or English or something like that at a 4 year university. Now you have to have good contacts, or know the right people in order to find a great job right out of college. I have been a server for 2.00 an hour plus tips, and an assistant teacher for 8.00 an hour after college. I now have a better paying job, but it has nothing to do with what I majored in.
