Growing and high paying careers in the US?

Question:
I am a sophomore at UC Berkeley, and am interested in a lot of things. I dont want to come out of college and have an ordinary life, I want a high paying job that has a good future. so please help me out here. which jobs are high paying and have good futures in the US?

If you were give a second chance to choose a major or a career, what would you choose?
Which career do you think will have better upcoming futures? from money , job opportunities, income, time put in, etc aspects, and why?
What would you recommend someone to choose as a career in the future?

Thanks a lot for all your help and time,

Answer:
choose pharmacy. not only it will give you opportunities for professional development and advancements, it will give you a high paying job as well, and you'll make more than nurses do. the need for pharmacists in the US is high right now.
Do what you love to do that requires a high degree of expertise and the money usually will naturally flow to you. What do YOU want to do? Forget about the money for a second and the external economic environment and focus on what you personally want to do. Again, the money will be there if you develop a high degree of expertise in your field.
Actuary Science- if you love numbers- They start around $70,000 right out of college(usually a 5 year degree). As you pass more tests you get more bonuses. Insurance companies always make money, so job security is there.

IT jobs would be my second choice.

Good luck
