Why do you want a high paying job? Money isnt everything. It for sure wont make you happy. Remember that you have to work at this position for 8-10 hours a day/5 days a week/4 weeks a month/12 months a year until your 65-70 years old. You will spend more time at your job then anywhere else in your lifetime. Its pretty much like your married to your job, trust me. Your job is your spouse, your best friend, your family. You WANT something that you are interested in. TRUST ME. It will be the biggest thing you will regret in your life if you dont go for something your completely interested in.
I'd also reavulate your life and figure out whats really valuable. Ill tell you the answer: the simple things.
