I am a 16 year old girl and a junior in highschool. My dream is to be a pharmacist, is there any courses that I should be taking now to get ready? I live in FL, what is the best in-state (it has to be in state because of my scholarship program, Bright Futures) college for the Pharm. D.?
And, what are the pros and cons of a career in this field, is it really worth all the schooling? Can anyone give me a base salary and the normal benefits associated with this career? Should I be doing any volunteer work or anything else to get me started and acclaimated with this field?

it certainly is a growing field and will continue to grow. be careful of saturation, as has become much more in demand past few years. definitely pays well
