Why don't college students rise up?
Question:
Answer:
we do, but most of the time noone wants to hear it..
college students at least here at SUNY do rise up and try to keep New York State from raising in-state tuition, and so far they've managed to do that.
Are YOU rising up?
In order to rise up, one must rise up. If no one is doing it, no one is going to do it. So, if you take the lead, others will follow. If you sit around waiting for someone else to do it, then you have your answer to your own question: "Because no one will take the lead."
Um. Student generally dont pay for their own tuition. Usually loans (of which they are too young and dumb to understand the consequences) or their mommy and daddy are flitting the bill.
So why should they give a flying f*ck?
College students are lazy, very lazy. They probably see rise in tuition as a an inevitability, but there are probably students protesting, just not enough.
They don't "rise up" because they are too busy complaining on internet message boards.
Instead of complaining here, put your energies into writing a letter to your congressman.
Hey, I've got a scholarship, I'm set.
Yes, I agree to a point. How are any of are elected going to know how we feel if they aren't subject to the same guidelines as the public. As far as the elderly goes-leave them alone . most of them are on fixed incomes and cant afford any thing.Insurance is always f-ing them over and they end up spending money they don't have on meds.
because most kids today dont have a clue as to what they want to do let alone have a cause to defend, besides most everything is given to them so why should they care
