Anybody know where to get a scholarship?

I'm in college right now (well technically I'm on break) but I got a lot of scholarships. In high school I went to my councilors office and got a few that I was qualified for (I'm white middle class so it's hard to find them sometimes...a lot are for minorities or sports etc...) and I wrote several essays. I got almost every single one I applied for. I only got beat out on one. And she deserved it :) If you can't get to your high school then go to www.scholarshare.com and apply for the ones online. I never applied for any but I know there are thousands available. You can also fill out a FAFSA, and if your income is at a certain level you can get a lot of grant money. My parents make a decent living and I get a Pell grant for $900 twice a semester, and a cal grant for $700 every semester...on top of the others I got. I lived on my own for months without having to work because my scholarhips payed rent!
HINT: apply for all that you can...even the little ones that are only $50...because those books are expensive and it will be worth it later.
HINT: many scholarship essay prompts are very similar...so once you've written a few essays, you can reuse them and just change a few things.
