i'm a junior in highschool and i wanted to get comp 1 out of the way so i wouldn't have to take it with math or other hard classes because i heard that it is a lot of writing, so i want to take it over the summer. The only problem is like the class is 200 bucks..so i can't exactly afford it. has anyone heard of any scholarships that they may be able to offer?

Go to the financial advisor at the college. They will tell you exactly what you qualify for. My daughter received a PELL grant, which are Federal Grants that do not have to be repaid and are generally awarded to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor's or professional degree.
