College! It is tough to leave what is familiar, but chase your dreams!! Six years isn't that long in the big picture.

Go - it's so easy to keep in touch with people across the country these days. Sure you'll miss your family, but you'll get to see them, and you should persue your talent. If it makes you more well-rounded, pays your bills, and adds so much benefit to your life, you'll be a better family member.
The decision is solely yours. Personally I would choose college. But I'm more of an adventurous person and I'm also not that close to my family. I would never be able to let an opportunity to change my life for the better slip by me. There's always telephones, email, and regular letters. But if you aren't that adventurous and are more of a home-body and can't bare to leave your family, then stay home. What it all comes down to is the decision that makes you happiest. It's your life, so whatever feels right is right. Just remember that we all have to make sacrifices in life to get what we really want. Good luck to you.
That's a tough one... A scholarship is a fabulous opportunity and could open many doors for you - in terms of your future career. But it would be a big step to leave your family behind. You could always take the scholarship and get a job in Nevada to pay for flights back to see your family every holiday and for the summers. That would make it a bit more bearable.
And you could always give it a try and just go. If you're miserable once you get there b/c you're homesick - there's no shame in coming back home. At least you won't be stuck wondering what would have happened if you had gone...
I wish you the best of luck - and hope whatever you decide works out for you :)
are you saying you'd have to leave your parents and siblings, or your children?!! This might make the answer a little different.

Good luck with your choice.
It's a sacrifice for you and your success. I think you should go for it if your given this great opportunity.
