I do not have alot of time to search through websites and write millions of essays. I want something i know i will get for sure (good chance). I am first generation asian american going to college. I am female. I work 3 jobs (tutor, pharmacy, and computer lab). I am the oldest with a younger brother. my parents are immigrants both do not work due to disabilities and both do not speak english. I have a 3.6 gpa. I do not want to write long research papers. I am very opinionated on some current affairs and human affairs (environment issues, cancer, and humanitarian efforts). I do not care if awards are small! I just want something I have a good shot of winning and do not take forever to complete application

You enter your info about your education, school and some other things and they'll find scholarships for you, from major ones to ones from your college to small ones.
Talk to the financial aid officer at your school for a start. Then go to the library and ask the research librarian for the book that lists scholarships. I would also contact any Asian American societies or chambers and ask for scholarship applications. The American Businesswoman give scholarships, and in my city local woman's associations give them out too. Don't rule out the men. A lot of community organizations such as the Elks, Kiwanis, etc. give out cash.
And if your state has a job service, check there. You may qualify for gas cards, or money for school because of your age, marital status, number of children, or just because you are in school.
Most of the applications are similar, and ask for 350 words on why you need the money. Keep copies of them all, especially your essay.
