How do I get the US government to pay for my college education?

Question:

Answer:
this is the website: www.fafsa.ed.gov
Also apply for Tap and Pell
You can also call the Financial Aid department in your college and you tell that you want to apply for Fafsa, Tap, Pell.
If you say that you want to apply for financial Aid, they might sign you up for a student loan and you might have to pay later a whole bunch of money. You will have to prove that you have low income, if you live with parents they must also have low income to be approved.
1. Financial Need (have to be considered independent- Over 24 or be put through the ringer and determined as) this will amount to grants

2. G.I. Bill (have to survive 4 years of Iraq)
Join the military.

Or fill out the FAFSA and hope that your income is low: fafsa.ed.gov
1. Join the military, have them pay for it, or go to the military academies, i.e. West Point
2. Ace the PSAT, SAT, or ACT and hope your school gives you a full academic scholarship
3. Appy for a ton of need-based scholarships, if the govt. says you are poor and in need
4. Take out tons of loans, if you qualify! Govt. will pay temporary, but you will have to pay them back!
5. Join the ROTC
6. Do a program like AmeriCorps and get an Education Award
7. Hope that you have a rich family member or family friend!
u fill out the fafsa at fafsa.ed.gov
u apply to a college
once you are accepted that college will give you grants/loans according to your EFC
your EFC is based on income, it is how much your family is supposed to contribute to your financial aid

if you can't afford your EFC, then there are always federal loans, scholarships and private loans and the (dreaded) MILITARY ...i'd join the navy/reserves/coast guard
Join the service.
Never mind the government...TOO much red tape ! Go to a library and get a book called the 'college blue book'.There are THOUSANDS of grants and scholarships in there for ppl with blonde hair, people who like cheese, cat lovers...ANYthing you can think of.
