Miss led and hurt should i be?
Question:
in thinking that my son was going to get a scholarship from my job for college at first i told him not to apply that they only give it to the one they want to have it not so much the ones that need it so someone insisted that i get him in for a intervew someone that was a big influence on the committee so he gets a call today saying sorry it came down to two and it wasnt you should i feel mad like i feel or is this life i feel more for him because he was dissapointed
Grow up, you're a parent, you should already know that life sometimes brings disappointment. Especially in contests.
You're just disappointed. You weren't mislead. It came down to two people and unfortunately, your son didn't get it. You should help him look for other scholarship opportunities and congratulate him for making it to the final two. He did a great job.
Being a mother its very much obivous to feel like that, but its a part of life & things move on like ever. U hav to make him understand that their is alwaz a next time & make him sure that atleast he gave his best, so wat happen if he cant make this time, he will definetely make out in next turn.
Be there to support him for every good thing, which make him realize that he is doing gud & will succeed one day.
