When in college do u get your money from financial aid and grant?

Question:
If you were awarded grant, financial aid, and scholarship from a school when would u get it.

Answer:
You need to talk to your college Financial Aid Office and ask that question. For my own son, the Financial Aid is disbursed at several points -- depending on what you get (this is general info from Financial Aid Office): You will register for your classes, and depending on the College, they may tie in directly Financial Aid received to the registration, so that the registration and disbursement will happen at that time. Also -- when I took my son in to purchase books today, there was one line for cash/credit purchases of textbooks, and another line for those who had financial aid. You had to show your College ID and Registration Confirmation Pages to be able to purchase the books under Financial Aid.

It can be that simple. But ... go 1st to register, get your College ID card made, and talk to the Financial Aid Officer after registration. They will be able to talk to the student (you) right after you register and tell you how financial aid awards will work in your case.
You'll get it on the first disbursement date. It varies from school to school, but in general, it is disbursed to your financial aid office around mid-September.
Usually about 5-6 weeks into class. I think different school release the funds at different times. I guess they want to make sure you are going to stick with the class before they give ya the money.
My god u look just like my boyfriend... and he used to go by Jason too. trippy!
