Okay, starting my college search...NOW!?

Question:
Okay, so here are my criteria for college (not all of these to be exactly met. If there's something about the college you'd suggest that doesn't have these things, still put it):

I want to go into medicine. I don't know exactly what I want to major in, but some type of science; possibly something that I could become a teacher with if Med School doesn't work out.

I'd prefer a more urban area with a GOOD PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM.

I don't mind leaving the US, but I don't speak foreign languages, so Canada or UK would be best for that. :D

I need a place with good financial aid.

I have a 3.9, am part of the Thespian Society and currently have the follwing extra curricular activities-
Model United Nations-Treasurer;
Romeo Theatre Company (my school's theatre group);
A Save Darfur club;
Considering doing Forensics next year;

Scholarships = Yay!

I'd prefer not to go to a religious school unless it's really REALLY good.

I think that's pretty much it...so...thanks
If you're this brilliant, why are you unable to do research online yourself?

They will let you input your preferences and will suggest you several colleges.
Since you've mentioned you don't mind going to places like Canada, I'll suggest going there. I know that a lot of people who decided to go there because of low tuition costs and the exchange rate.
I've heard great things from pre-med students about University of Western Ontario (in London, Ontario) and University of Toronto. I've included both links for you to browse.

Good luck with your college search! It will be a long and sometimes annoying process, but it's important and definitely worth it! :)
One of the decisions you'll have to make is large university vs. small college. They each have their virtues. I've been very impressed by Loren Pope's little book, "Colleges That Change Lives". He firmly believes in small liberal arts colleges and profiles 40 of them in his book. More importantly, he has good advice about the college search in general. I really recommend getting the book, but there is a web page, although the book has a lot more content.

I hope this helps. We're not all a--holes.
