Updated:What summer jobs should I apply for (college student)?
Question:
I'm a third year at Yale majoring in Economics. My ultimate goal is to go to law school to study corporate law. I need a summer job to make money too though.
So far I've applied to 2 law-related jobs; courthouse internship and Yale Law School data coding, but was rejected to both.
I've worked at a law firm for 2 months in the summer before, but that's pretty much my job experience.
So any ideas? I'm having a hard time finding more law-related jobs/internships?
I think you should get a part time job for something simple (i don't mean like keep the job forever!). Like a part time job as a waiter of a local tavern. Or maybe a part time job as a person making subs at subway. The part time job i have that pays okay, is the moviw theatre i get free movies and i sneak free popcorn though even if does pay well it can be pretty hard job. But you can do anything you want all you have to do is put your mind to it *smiles*! LOL!
What about the place you worked last summer, have you tried to go back? How about asking that firm if they can recommend anything to you.
